Yes—it’s a proper automatic watch.
Inside is a Japanese Miyota 8215 movement. No need battery to replace—it winds itself while you wear it. If the watch has been sitting for a while, just give the crown a few turns and you’re ready to go.
The dial has a sense of humor. The movement does the serious work.
No lightweight, toy-watch feel here.
The case and bracelet are made from 316L stainless steel, with a sapphire crystal, ceramic bezel and a solid 147g feel on the wrist.
It’s built like a proper everyday automatic watch—the joke is on the dial, not in the quality.
It’s meant to look classic at first glance—and make people smile when they look closer.
The handwritten message and scattered numbers turn a familiar automatic watch into something more personal, relaxed and memorable.
It doesn’t take itself too seriously. Hopefully, neither do you.
It’s 41mm—a comfortable, everyday size for most men. It feels solid on the wrist and is easy to read without looking too big.
Need a small adjustment? Use the fine adjustment inside the clasp. Need a bigger change? Remove a link or two with the tool included in the box.
And if you’d rather not do it yourself, any local jeweler can size it in just a few minutes.

I’ve had this for about three months now. It has survived desk diving, actual swimming, and playing with my kids. The bracelet has some scuffs now, but the watch head is pristine. It’s become my go-to weekend watch. Very robust and nice looking piece.

I ordered this alongside a much more expensive watch from another brand, and honestly, this one gets more wrist time. The case geometry is really comfortable. My only minor gripe is the clasp could be slightly smaller, but that's just personal preference. A stellar watch overall.
We designed that case geometry to feel completely natural on the wrist Sussan. Knowing it gets picked over the luxury options tells us the hardware is doing its job. Good call on the clasp sizing we will keep that in mind for the future.
Really well executed design. It doesn't look like an homage, it stands on its own. The crown threading is buttery smooth and the grip is just right. I took it swimming over the weekend and had zero issues. Just a great, reliable, everyday mechanical watch.
